Since 2019, A88 team has been a longstanding partner of the Coalition for APP, overseeing the development and production of the plates and packaging.
Launched by the Coalition for the Homeless in 2020 at the peak of the pandemic, the Artist Plate Project (APP) has to-date partnered with more than 100 world- renowned artists who have donated their artwork to create limited-edition dinner plates. The funds raised by the sale of plates provide food, crisis services, housing, and other critical aid to thousands of people experiencing homelessness and housing instability. The purchase of just one plate can feed more than 100 homeless and hungry individuals.
A88 responsibilities extended to quality control, FDA testing, photography, logistics, and shipping. A key focus of the collaboration was color matching—a complex process requiring extensive sampling and rigorous quality control to ensure that each image faithfully reflected the original artwork
